Town Seal The Board of Health's Mission
is to preserve, protect, and improve the public health and social well-being of the citizens of Randolph and to promote good health and prevent and control the spread of disease. To address environmental issues and to meet the social/health needs of the community.

Mr. McVeigh has been involved in public health for 15 years. He holds a BS in Microbiology and a Masters in Business. Recently in 2008 he was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to the Commonwealth's Board of Sanitarians. In November he was chosen as 1 of 35 nationwide candidates to attend the Environmental Public Health Leadership Institute (EPHLI) at the Centers For Disease Control (CDC) 2009 class in Atlanta GA. This is a year long program which will emphasize leadership qualities and cutting edge projects involving public health. Mr. McVeigh is Both a Certified Health Officer and Registered Sanitarian with the Commonwealth. He enjoys the challenge of local public health and the diversity of issues inherent with the job. "I enjoy helping people and in public health field you can see tangible results that affect people’s lives".
